Artsy Love: Benjamin Lacombe
Hola a todos! Espero que estén muy bien! Hoy les voy a hablar sobre otro ilustrador que me gusta mucho: Benjamin Lacombe. Gracias a el me ha interesado mucho la ilustración. La conocí hace tiempo gracias a su libro de Cuentos Macabros en donde ilustra los cuentos de Edgar Allan Poe (uno de mis escritores favoritos) . Me encanta el detalle que tienen sus ilustraciones , e visto muchas de sus entrevistas y son muy inspiradoras. Me encantaría comprar mas de sus libros , uno que se ve muy interesante es Genealogía de una bruja. A continuación les dejare algunas de sus ilustraciones: // Hello everyone! Hope you are good! Today I’m goring to talk about another illustrator that I really like: Benjamin Lacombe. Thanks to him I started to be interested in illustration. I met him through his book Cuentos Macabros in which he draws a lot of the stories by Edgar Allan Poe (which is one of my favourite writers). I love how he puts a lot of details in each one of his drawings. I have seen a lot of interviews with him and he really inspires me. I would love to buy another book by him. The next one that I got my eye on is Genealogia de una Bruja. Now I will show you some of his work:
Como verán sus ilustraciones son hermosas y siempre me han gustado este tipo de ilustraciones "oscuras" pero que en realidad no lo son. Si quieres saber mas sobre Benjamin Lacombe lo pueden encontrar en Facebook, Pagina Oficial, Blog,Youtube. Puedo decir que es mi ilustrador favorito , se que hay otros ilustradores que tienen trabajos parecidos pero para mi el tiene algo que logra diferenciarse de los demás. Bueno eso es todo por hoy , se que es muy corto pero tengo que estudiar mucho para mas examenes finales y no les quería dejar sin una entrada. Aun así espero que la hayan disfrutado! illustrations are just beautiful. I have always loved this kind of
"dark" illustrations but then in reality they are not. If you want to
know more about him you can find him on: Facebook, Oficial Page, Blog,Youtube. . I can say that he is my favourite illustrator
right now, I know of a lot of people that have similar drawings to him but
there is always something about him that make its different. Well that is
everything for today. I know is really short but I need to study for my finals
